Fry Firefighters Local 4913

Firefighter safety × charity × Community outreach

What We Do

Through fundraising, events, and political action, we at Fry Fire Local 4913 strive to positively impact those around us. On duty, we are those that respond to assist with any emergency our community may face during some of their toughest moments.

Off duty we strive to better our community and provide support to hopefully deliver some assistance to those who need it. We try to accomplish this through fundraisers that bring us together as a union and help us further meld with our community.

We are growing quickly, but as of now our funds have helped raise thousands of dollars for multiple organizations. A few of which are as follows:

Infant Swimming resource. ISR is a program that gives your child the confidence and skills of aquatic safety with Infant Swimming Resource's self rescue program. The safest provider of survival swimming lessons for children 6 months to 6 years of age. Local 4913 is partnering with certified ISR instructor Sheryl Roth to provide scholarships to first responders and their young children. For more information on applying for the scholarship please email. To make a tax-deductible donation to our scholarship program, click the Donate button below.

Supplies for the Wise. We all know teachers are asked to give more with ever diminishing levels of funding. We help to bridge this gap by providing school supplies to our local teachers to assist in providing the best quality education for the children of our community.

The Forgache House. One of the most fulfilling acts we do is help provide Holiday assistance to children who are temporarily misplaced from their homes. From delivering Christmas presents to hiding Easter eggs; the Forgache house always provides a fun filled event that is fulfilling for both the residents and us as firefighters.

Past Events!

It always feels good to distribute the funds we raised to those in need of them. We recently distributed three $250.00 gift cards to local Sierra Vista school teachers who requested help with programs supporting safety and fitness. We know the teachers will make great use of this money in bettering the lives of those they teach.

Instructors from Phoenix PD, Northwest fire, PCSO, USBP, Marana PD, Tucson Airport Fire, CCSO, Fry Fire, and Picture Rocks Fire teamed up to help instruct new training that allows quicker treatment in the event of a active shooter event. 85 students from 15 fire agencies and 10 law enforcement agencies trained on integrated law enforcement and fire responses to active violence events. To the right is a quick video put together by the Arizona Daily Star on the event.

Local 4913 joined in with the Baja Beer Festival to help raise some money.

We teamed up with Beast Brewery and made a custom batch of El Jefe Wetzen, which turned out to be a hit!

See you there next year!

2016 was the first Fry Firefighter's Charity golf tournament. With the support and donations of many local businesses, we were able to raise over $2000! The money raised went directly to support our Supplies for the Wise program, the annual Christmas drive, and annual Easter Egg hunt at the Forgache house!

We appreciate everyone who supported our event! We look forward to seeing you there next year!

Our yearly trip to spread Christmas Joy to those at the Forgach house. A great turnout went to provide toys to the children of those who have suffered from domestic violence.
